New Moon Mysteries

– Mysteries Of The Moon –

The moon mite messier our days but does the moon hold secrets? Does the moon have sines of life or evidence of other creations? We all could view the moon as the first milestone on the road to the stars, but what if we paused for a minute while on that stone? What would or could we find? Even though we have already been there the moon still holds many mysteries for human kind to explore.

-The Silver Dragon –

In Hangzhou, China The Silver Dragon a 30 feet tall and 25 mile an hour wave happens every year. 100 thousand people come to look at this wave every year, some people even attempt to surf this extremely dangerous wave. The gravity of the moon lifts the water up to give us high tide, and when the moon passes it gives us low tide as the tide drops. This force is what we call gravity. The energy of that force comes from the gravitational pull of the moon. How the moon creates these affects is unexplained at this moment as we don’t fully understand why gravity works, in some ways we understand how it works but not exactly why it works.

Moon Lunar Gravitation

– The Earth’s Core –

The gravitational pull of the moon as it circles the earth and its Multan liquid core force the liquid core to turn deep in the earth’s center, this is a process known as churning. The moon causes tidal forces to churn the core of the earth and this creates the earth’s magnetic field. This protects us from solar flares put off by the sun, solar flare that are harmful to humans.

– Earth’s Magnetic Field –

If it wasn’t for the moon you would get a sun burn within a few minutes after being exposed to the suns rays. The earth’s magnetic field shields us from harm in many ways. The suns solar rays can be potentially deadly to humans. Science tells us that if the sun gave off a solar flare big enough the flare could potentially burn the entire earth’s surface wiping out all life on the surface of the earth. Having our magnetic field truly helps keep us safe.

Absent Lunar Moon

– Changes With No Moon –

In the absents of the moon catastrophic events would take place on the earth. The earth’s rotation would begin to slow down possibly causing a stronger wobble in the earth’s access which would begin to melt down the earth’s poles. The melting of the ice at the poles can cause tidal waves and tsunamis. Sea levels would rise exponentially and life living in our coastal cities would experience disaster in great abundance.

– Scars On The Moon –

The moon is covered in impact creators, it has been struck by meteors and asteroids over and over for millions of years. Scientist believe that many of those impact creators could have been impacts to the earth instead if not for the sake of the moon. Our glorious moon truly acts as a shield for our planet. The moon helps make things possible for life on the earth.

Solar System Lunar Moons

– Uniquely Larg Moon –

In our solar system there are more than 200 moons for all the planets. We as humans sum times refer to these moons as natural satellites. Earth is the only planet that has only one moon circulating its orbit in our solar system. Our moon is the 5th largest moon in our solar system, its proportional size to the earth when compared to other planets and their moons is uniquely large in its size. Other planets have much smaller moons in proportion. Not all moons in our solar system are round, it is thought that this is because they don’t have a strong enough gravitational pull within themselves.

– Perfectly Sized Moon –

One other uniquely looked at fact about our moon involves its dimensions, its distance from the earth, and its distance from the sun. The combination of the outcome of all three of these things make it possible to have what we call a solar eclipse. Our sun is 400 times the diameter of our moon and our moon is 400 times closer to the earth than our sun. This makes it so when you look at the sky both our sun and our moon will appear to look the same size, the perfect equation for a solar eclipse.

Dark Side New Moon

– One Side To See –

Most people don’t know we only get to observe one side of the moon from our vantage point here on earth. This means that from earth we will never see the other side of the moon also called the dark side of the moon. The reason for this is the same time it takes the moon to make a 360 degree turn on itself is the same amount of time it takes for the moon to travel around the earth, 27 days causing one side to always face us. In order to get a radio signal to the dark side of the moon we need to use a satellite to redirect the signal there.

Moon Question

– The Question –

Does our moon hold more mysteries, secrets, and capabilities than we as humans know or realize today? Once again mainstream science believes with further advancement in technology and further discoveries made by man the answer is an obvious yes.

This is a very educational post on the moon. The force of nature is very powerful and can be seen in the strong currents and high tides in our seas and oceans when it is full moon. I have not heard about the Silver Dragon in China before and the huge wave that forms once a year. So why does it only happen once a year and not with every full moon?

      Hello LineCowley,

The rising tide coming in from Hangzhou Bay is funneled by the shape of the Qiantang River into the world’s largest tidal bore, a long breaking wave known as the Silver Dragon.

The tidal bore happens during the spring tide with every full moon, but is strongest in the fall, when the Tide-Watching Festival is held on the 18th day of the 8th month in the Chinese calendar.

Hi. It is amazing to see all the good that our moon provides to our planet earth. I did not realize that it was such a protector of the earth. One can only imagine the catastrophe we are doomed to have without the protection of the moon.

The local events that almost always happen around the time of the new moon always amaze me. I’ve been taught by older generations to watch out for the three days of rain before the new moon and another three days after. This is actually what has been happening these last couple of days.

In fact, on the 9th of May, the tide was high and it was raining so hard that we had flooding in the coastal areas. Unfortunately, there were also landslides and a local disaster alert. As I see it these are all in effect to the coming new moon.

    Thanks for the great read.

Thank you for enjoying my article on our Moon, please have a look at more articles I’ve posted on my website. I really appreciate you choosing to follow my site.

Here is another interesting fact about our solar system. Many people know that the solar system is 4.6 billion years old but most people don’t know that 99.86% of its mass is contained in our Sun.

I plan on posting much, much more interesting facts about many different questions we all have so please follow up with my website and thank you for your comment!

    Hi! Edgar,

About your article, a question arised in my mind.Does the Gravity of the earth to pull down a thing on air and the Gravity of the moon to pull up a thing from earth on air explains why a flying object like the airplane stays on air? While, the Pilot controls the airplane not to go up or down further, still we are talking of two forces of gravity which is from earth and the moon?Your article was very interesting to me. Thanks for all the infos.

      Hello Shierly,

An airplane is always being pulled down by gravity from the earth. The moon dose not have enough gravitational force to pull the airplane up in to the sky.

I will explain to you the best way I can how an airplane flies.

A plane’s engines are designed to move it forward at high speed. That makes air flow rapidly over the wings, which throw the air down toward the ground, generating an upward force called lift that overcomes the plane’s weight and holds it in the sky.

In other words the wings force the air downward and that pushes the plane upward.

Thank you for your comment and please enjoy more articles on my website. 🙂
